        Columbia Sportswear Company, or its affiliates (including Columbia Brands USA, LLC), (as applicable, “Sorel”), warrants to the original purchaser that their Sorelfootwear (“Product(s)”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase. Because Sorel cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this limited warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from Sorel or a Sorel authorized seller, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Sorel Products are legitimately sold only by authorized sellers that are required to follow Sorel’s policies, procedures, and quality control standards. Sorel reserves the right to reject warranty claims from purchasers for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites.

        What This Limited Warranty Does NOT Cover. This limited warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, the natural breakdown of materials overtime, or problems that may be reasonably expected to result from normal wear or failure to follow the Product’s care instructions. Only original, unaltered, and unmodified materials and workmanship are covered by this limited warranty. Additionally, certain products may be excluded from this limited warranty as indicated at the point of sale and/or on the product hang tag. Further, this limited warranty does not include items marked as samples, second quality, or products expressly sold as flawed or with minor defects.

        How Long This Warranty Lasts. This limited warranty lasts for one (1) year from the date of purchase and extends to the original purchaser only (i.e., warranty coverage ends if you sell or transfer the Product).

        How To Get Warranty Service. Purchasers of Products who wish to make a warranty claim based upon a Product defect may submit a warranty claim directly with Sorel by using our Warranty Claim Form available here. Once you have filled out your information and submitted your Warranty Claim Form, you will receive a warranty claim number and a sheet to print out. Simply include a copy of this sheet with your warranty claim number in the package with your Product and send to us at the address provided below. Otherwise, please call us at 1-888-697-6735 for issuance of a warranty claim number. A copy of your original receipt or proof of purchase may also be required.

        Shipping information. Purchasers are responsible for costs incurred in shipping items to Sorel. Sorel will cover the cost of return shipping. Please ensure that you ship your Product with a reputable carrier that can provide tracking information and proof of delivery, such as FedEx or UPS. Purchasers are responsible for their Product until Sorel signs for delivery upon receipt. Sorel cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit.
