|Machine Washable shoes can handle the playground and the washing machine, so they are easy to keep clean and smelling fresh.
|Our eco-friendly material is made without any solvents during the manufacturing process, resulting in reduced carbon dioxide emission and less use of water and energy.
|Vegan shoes are made with no animal products or by-products.
To clean: Place shoes in the washing machine. If shoes have removable insoles, they can be removed and added to machine. For best results, wash shoes alone in cold water, on gentle cycle. Do not add bleach; use regular detergent. Allow shoes to air dry with Velcro open -- away from sunlight -- before re-inserting insoles (if applicable). Do not put shoes in the dryer.
The pediped® philosophy is simple: comfort, quality and style, in that order, which is why pediped® was one of the first children’s shoe companies the American Podiatric Medical Association awarded their Seal of Acceptance for promoting healthy foot development.
Pediped® uses only the highest quality leathers, and our craftsmanship is second to none. The soles on an Originals® shoe are made of two layers of slip-resistant, high quality leather. The soles on Grip ‘n’ Go™ are a thin, natural rubber that provides an ideal level of protection and flexibility. Flex® soles are also made of natural rubber to allow maximum flexibility.
Pediped® creates stylish shoes that are the perfect combination of timelessness and trend. We strive to achieve great style while maintaining comfort and quality. Clean, modern colors, with a nod to the classics, and an element of surprise are the fundamental principles of the pediped® design philosophy. Our primary design considerations continue to be comfort, simplicity, and quality. This philosophy applies to all products that we design. pediped® hopes that moms and dads like the styles as much as they like the fact that the shoes are healthy for their child’s developing feet.
Pediped® prides itself on providing a safe, comfortable work environment for its employees and also providing flexible hours for working moms. pediped® is also a member of the Fair Labor Association and does not allow the practice of sweatshops or the use of children in any of its factories.
Pediped® is committed to serving our customers, our employees, and most of all our community. Charitable donations are one small way pediped® can provide shoes to those who need them or help raise money for organizations that enhance the human experience. The pediped® foundation was established in 2010 by the Managing Partners of pediped® footwear, Co-Founders Brian and Angela Edgeworth and their business partner, Rudy Glocker. Philanthropy always was and will continue to be a core value of pediped® footwear. The pediped® foundation will continue and expand the philanthropic activities of pediped® footwear. Since inception, pediped® has donated more than $2,750,000 worth of products and monetary support to children across the globe.
